One problem with leaving the birdsite is that I had built up a reasonable list of illustrators to follow there, and I really haven't here. But I bet they're around. I just want to say for my first post to the #Fediverse that I've already seen more #alttext in the last couple of days than I've literally seen in my entire life. I don't know what it is, but as a blind user it's making me emotional to be able to actually interact with content. Think I'll write an introduction soon.

Pro tip: the oats don't need to soak in liquid overnight. 20 minutes will do. Or none, depending on your texture preferences. Muesli, for example, can contain uncooked oats, and there's no soaking involved.

I like mine mixed into yoghurt.

55. Took my first programming course in 1983. Was on the internet before it was called the Internet. Bought my first computer in 1991. Installed my cutting edge 1200 baud modem which came with incorrect instructions for IRQ switches, which I figured out anyway, and came with dialup software that was incompatible with it, but I got that working, too.
