Fogscape: Bus Stop.

Nex-3N

Itโ€™s been a bit of a crappy week for ; too many doctors, not enough sleep, too much work, etcโ€ฆ. But the fog came back and I was able to work on a concept.

Finally got started on the story that Iโ€™ve been meaning to serialise for a while now. I wanted to get enough writing done this weekend to publish at least two parts over the week, but apparently thatโ€™s not going to happen ๐Ÿ˜›

On the other hand, the story is really falling into place and I love where the characters are taking me!

I also realized that most of my writing has hidden tidbits and connections that people might not always find/get. I lay these breadcrumbs out because I love discovering these things in other peopleโ€™s writing. So I thought maybe I should start adding annotations at the end of each part with a link to more info, not a full explanation of what is going on, but enough info for those curious enough to explore further โ€” I guess weโ€™ll see how that goes โ€ฆ

Now to see if I can get a better image to go along with the story โ€” probably will take the rest of the day to do that ๐Ÿ˜›

New skill acquired, cathedral window quilting. Fun and frustrating at the same time. Fairly easy method taught as well, as long as you are accurate with the points at every stage. Only a few seams ripped along the way ๐Ÿ˜‚

One of the hobbies I developed when social distancing was a thing was exploring ghost towns and abandoned places. This is one of the most well-known abandoned homes in Ontario, possibly Canada, known as the Guyitt Homestead. The lawn surrounding the house is still maintained, but the house is falling apart.

Hello fellow Denizens!

Here is my (Sept 2023 edit):

My name is Stephanie and Iโ€™m also ok with Steph or pixie. I love cats so feel free to mute cat-related hashtags if itโ€™s too much.

Iโ€™m a 40-something Canadian white cis lesbian/queer woman (she/her) who loves art (I do some digital art), animation (I adore the show Arcane), soccer (especially watching NWSL), animals (particularly cats like my mini panther Ava ๐Ÿˆโ€โฌ›), video games (Red Dead Redemption 2, FIFA/EAFC, Assassinโ€™s Creed, Cities Skylines, The Sims4), reading cheesy lesbian romance novels (recently expanding to sci-fi lesbian romance ๐Ÿ˜œ) and learning about other peopleโ€™s nerdy obsessions.

Iโ€™ve never been evaluated for autism but I think itโ€™s likely that I am autistic. I gravitate to autistic people and have been learning more about autism and about disability advocacy in general.

I do my best to be inclusive and make my posts as accessible as possible and I am open to being shown a better way.

Some beliefs: I am gender inclusive, pro abortion, pro vaccines, anti-policing, anti-racist, anti-fascist.

I believe we all have the right to access healthcare, housing, food, education, transportation and all our accessibility needs without having to rely on income. I believe this world of community care is possible even if I have tendencies to be a loner.

Iโ€™m looking forward to meeting you all.

Some hashtags that represent me and my interests:

Within the province of Enna is the star-shaped town of Centuripe, whose layout is dictated by the curves and slopes of the rocky hill it stands upon.

The town has a long history stretching back thousands of years.

A town whose shape and buildings follow strict topography offers inspiration for places to explore in and .

February Fun - Day 2

Today I present to you a clumsy seagull that just so happened to be swallowed by ocean waves while it searched for fish. Coincidentally, I was just in the middle of taking photographs anyway when this scene suddenly happened ๐Ÿ˜… My then boyfriend said I have a talent for capturing moments like that, I call it lucky with a hint of mind presence to push-that-button-now-now-now ๐Ÿคฃ

It's , and I have a story I really wanna share:

In 1691 an 80-something Livonian man named Old Thiess was called to court as a witness in a theft case. As he was sworn in, another witness laughed: "How can he swear a holy oath when everyone knows he is a werewolf?"

The judges immediately forgot about the thief and put Old Thiess on trial. He calmly admitted that yes, indeed he was a werewolf.
