@f Oof. "Convincing but total BS" seems to be the theme. I saw a librarian post about some patrons who came in asking for books that didn't exist - Chat GPT had invented them to support what it was writing.

@AngelaPreston I saw that too 🙂 What I worry about is all the people who believe all this hype about how “ChatGPT will replace search engines” and then go use it and believe everything it blurts out without verifying facts …

@f Yes. Or companies who believe they can rely on AI to generate content, and then pay actual writers much less to "clean it up" (which means rewriting the entire thing correctly).
