ππΎ Wasn't much active on Fedi for a bit. Here's what I was doing in the past 6 - 8 weeks.
- enjoyed the new year season (mid-April in Sri Lanka)
- started working on a poetry manuscript, finally
- also made a couple of submissions to poetry magazines
- read/listened to a ton of poetry and close readings
- tried a bunch more fountain pens and in the process improved my cursive writing
- built a new ergomech keyboard (pretty similar to the old one) so that I don't have to commute to work carrying one and also for redundancy
- recovered from cold/flu, twice, and the 2nd time still in progress
It's hot and humid here. Looking forward (cautiously) to the rainy season and making progress on my two remaining resolution items for this year.
@f ππΎ it usually starts raining around the Vesak season, probably too much.
BTW, I ran into someone who knows you about a month ago. He's the gentleman who works with the Synology distribution. He recalled you fondly and wondered if you're back in the country.
@gaveen good to see you back! Also, the fountain pen posts are taunting me. one day sooner I'm going to be neck deep into them :)
@aerobender πππΎ I'm not a collector, but a user, with both fountain pens and ergomech keyboards. That being said, it hasn't stopped me from having 30 - 40 fountain pens at home. Luckily, I'm deliberately picking low budget ones. It feels nice to have options because since Q4 last year, I've gone back to using a notebook instead of trying to keep everything digital.
