Is it just me or are the re-works of old movies just crap?

Just tried to watch "Hellboy: The Crooked Man" and "Beetlejuice Beetlejuice" and they were both so inane and boring that we gave up after a little while on both.

@aerobender I do understand the cash-grab part, but if they'd actually made a decent movie then it would have left the door open for them to grab more cash the next time 😛

These were so horrible that I'd probably not even want to look at each franchise ever again.

Ah well, I guess we are well and truly in the age of mediocrity 😛
