Two new Apple Intelligence ads:
The first one is charming, where AI converts an angry rant of an email into something friendly.

The second one belongs on the pile of others, with dishonesty at the core, where you pretend you've done something that, in fact, you had Apple Intelligence do for you. I find this second group grating, not funny, almost offensive. Just me?

But I think there's a growing segment of people to whom this probably appeals. I don't agree with it and I think they are in for a rude surprise when the "intelligence" fails the spectacularly, but I also don't think they'll be swayed by any arguments.
I'm seeing at least some developers who trust implicitly in ChatGPT. Had an incident yesterday where somebody breezily told me that they fed a problem I'd been struggling with for days had an answer and that ChatGPT gave it to them. It was totally wrong and didn't even cover the scenario I was talking about 😛
But this is the world we live in now, I guess?
