Do any of you fellow writers out there use Scrivener. It seems to be my go to word processor at the moment. I enjoy the way things are filed inside each project. Scrivener just feels more versatile for me. I wonder what word processors others are preferring to use.

@pixiewhitechapel I've abandoned Scrivener for @novelwriter, which admittedly isn't for everyone but I've found that it meets virtually all of my needs while offering some highly specific features I find useful. Not only is it open source and thus free (unless you elect to donate to Veronica, the developer), but she is very responsive to feedback and discussions of features.

Libreoffice Writer

I built a manuscript template that does everything I need ... except, you know, the biggest bottleneck.

@pixiewhitechapel I like Scrivener too. I think of moving to something else sometimes but then I realize that I'd miss being able to organize everything to do with my world, lore, characters etc. in one document way too much and shelve that thought away for some other time 🙂
