Hey, Amazon sent me a whole $1.75 this month. So that's my level of success. 🤣

I keep telling myself I achieved by just following my dream & getting these books out, which is true. And that small amount means someone in a country outside their 70% royalty range bought (& is hopefully enjoying) my book, which is a first & makes me happy. I also remind myself that huge success comes with a lot of negatives, which is also true. A bit more success would be nice though. 😆

No worries. I have such a huge list of indie books I want to read, including yours, but I tend to get hyper focused & obsessed with my own work to the point where my reading falls off. There's a trip coming up (which keeps getting pushed back) where I intend to buy a few indie books for the flights & the down time at my destination. I will probably buy more than I can get through but that's fine.

I love Kobo. Seems a much better alternate for readers than Amazon. I wish I'd get more sales there (they don't even send royalties until your earnings reach $50) so thank you!

I know it's disheartening sometimes. Plus, I wrote my first novel 20 years ago and it sold like 3 copies at that time and then I gave up. But now I feel as if success will come eventually if you keep at it? Or so I hope ...
