"Fallout" (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt12637874) is about stupid people — people who can't think for themselves and adhere to a company line centuries after the company itself has withered away to dust.

People who can’t distinguish between right and wrong themselves and who need a company policy (which is always profit) to define how they should behave.

They think that they can build a better world with that kind of approach?

It's better that humanity dies out instead ...

@f The satire and critique presented by Fallout is definitely multi-layered. I also saw the vault dwellers as analogous with the middle and upper class or more economically developed entities like the US or the EU. There is an ignorance about the realities much of the world faces that people can fall into when their needs are met and they don’t have to struggle to survive. There is also a condescending view that “those peoples” lives are complete shit and they need to be shown how to be more like us in order to solve the problems they face.
