October really hasn't been my month so far. Food poisoning, mouth infection, and cold almost back to back. It'll be a few more days before I feel OK.
It was a tough act to follow the quality conclusion of September, but this is something else. It was already an expensive month to boot and I'm still processing a major life-scale realization (read: neurodiversity, not ready to talk about it yet). As a reward, I get to be the adult in the room for some people trying to play office politics. Yay. π
Despite everything, I'm in good spirits. Last month, I got to finally make sense of how I process things, got to spend quality time with my family & extended family, and more good thing. Between these current poor health dominated couple of weeks, and dealing with office toxicity, I still am ππΎ.
I want a number of things to change. But I'm in good spirits because @asuralinux has been my coping mechanism. Which is why I'm also a little sad I still didn't get to finish the next technical blogpost.
Saw a doctor today, because my painful sore throat and coughing weren't getting any better and weren't responding to usual remedies either. Additional issues also started to pop up by yesterday and I barely got any sleep. I'm on antibiotics now, plus nasal and eye drops, and a gargle--the whole nine yards. I'm hopeful this will do the trick.
The only public place I've stopped wearing masks was work. Guess I'll go back to wearing a mask at work too.
@lohang thanks Lohan. Still a way to go for recovery, but even after a single dose of medicine, I'm already feeling better than I've felt in almost two weeks. I'm definitely on team KN95.
Hope you found the blog post on @asuralinux of interest. There's not much else yet, and I'm also learning as I go. That's why I didn't make it like an announcement. I'm hoping the next post will be up within a couple of days.
