looks like gotosocial really does run perfectly fine on a tiny $5/mo cloud server. time to start setting up my follows and lists over there, i think. i really like the community here, but there's a bunch of folks i can't follow because they're on servers that're blocked.

@rascalking I ran it for a while on a VPS and it did run without any issues whatsoever. So easy to install too 🙂

The only reason I switched away was because I wanted more features. But that was at least half a year ago. They probably have added a lot more functionality now. I guess I should go look …

@f they just landed lists in an rc release, which will be really helpful.
