I said a while ago that the glasses (now Vision Pro) didn't make much sense to me, and I assumed Apple would surprise me with something I hadn't thought of.

I'm not sure they really did. They just put out a really nice, appropriately priced AR headset. EyeSight may be "the thing' I wasn't expecting, but I'm not sure it's big enough.

Maybe it's more appealing for people that live alone, or can afford multiple of these.

@jefframes I’m not sure it actually caters to people who can afford multiple devices either 🙂 I want to write about this in more detail later (just woke up and gathering my thoughts) but the whole demo felt like a lonely experience …

There was nothing about people using the device together — it was all about just consuming stuff all on your own or connecting to remote people.
