Episode 2 of s3 was a significant improvement over the first one imo. I was happy that we didn't have series of fetch quests until we get to Mandalore but go straight at it. Which makes ep1 all the more puzzling.

@jynersolives Bo-Katan living in a castle in the Mandalore system and never bothering to check on her home planet is weird. I guess you could argue that none of the survivors ever plan on living there again, so what's the point?

You better not compare this to Andor, because the quality difference is staggering. And I'm not talking about tone or themes, Andor was it's own thing and so is Mando. I'm talking about basic stuff like how you structure a plot moving from A to B. In this regard, Mando is just as atrocious as TBOBF or OWK.

@jynersolives Yep. I’m constantly amazed that the simplistic story-telling that the Star Wars TV shows do just passes muster and nobody seems to bat an eyelid. Why did Mando have to wander all over the place looking for a robot? Can’t he just call ahead and check? What is Bo-Katan doing all alone in that castle/moon? Is there nobody else there at all and does she simply spend every day sitting indolently on that throne?

So many questions I really don’t want answers for 😛
