So, a while back, I had scheduled a couple of days off this week. I was going to take Thursday and Friday just for my own self, to do stuff that I like that no one else likes. Work on getting my indoor growing station all set up and seeded, maybe play outdoors with the shovel if the weather was good enough, watch the shows that I want to watch, that sort of thing....

And now my kiddo is sick. The Husband is taking tomorrow to be with him, but probably I'm going to spend at least Thursday and very possibly Friday taking care of my boy. Which, if I have to miss a couple of days of work for a sick kid, I guess this is the way to do it - I won't get dinged for it since these were scheduled in advance.

My kid is usually pretty self-sufficient so I might be able to do some of my stuff anyway. But right now he feels just rotten, so I am thinking I will probably keep a closer eye.

@AngelaPreston Hope your son feels better soon! It’s never fun to be sick but it’s even worse when you’re a kid … at least, that’s how I remember it.
