@MonaApp Another brilliant incremental update. The further adjustment to managing users on the home timeline is excellent and further enhances what was already available. Great stuff.

@MonaApp Is there a way to see trending posts? Or is that coming later or no plans for it?

@MonaApp Is the “Remove from Home timeline” feature something supported by the Mastodon API (and therefore does it affect other clients?) or is it Mona-only? If it’s Mona-specific, does it sync between devices?

@m3enzo You could see trending hashtags in the Trending tab

@sentience Mona-only. Sync with iCloud.

@MonaApp This update seems to remove link preview cards.

@_Jordan Hi, some links don’t come with a preview, or the preview hasn’t been loaded by Mastodon server (at the moment of refresh). You could tap into the post to refresh preview again. Also you could check the link preview settings and see if it’s been turned off.

@MonaApp still get the error that I need to be subscribed to Spring - what am I doing wrong?

@MonaApp I assume you aren’t looking at supporting other Fedi servers such as Pleroma and Akkoma yet? I tried to use it with Akkoma but it appears that the Akkoma user ID is alphanumeric and Mona expects an integer value for the user ID. So it didn’t work …

But if you are looking at adding support for other Fedi servers which support the Mastodon API, I’d be happy to help with that effort 🙂

@MonaApp Still getting a modal saying that Spring is required. Have I misunderstood what public beta means?

@MonaApp @ravipatel Is the latest Mac version of the closed beta still 38170??

@MonaApp hm I clicked that link and it gives me the invite beta one, not the public beta one. the 38171 is all it gave me not the 38170 I saw you say in another post, am I missing something?

@lunar_fang Could be a TestFlight bug, or you previously opened an invite-only link. Anyway you should be able to find the public beta version on the “Previous Builds” section on TestFlight.

@MonaApp If I am on the beta for spring users, should I stay on that beta or switch to the public one?

@progressivecat Hi, it’s up to you, as both versions function the same at this moment. Public beta is open to everyone but it has limited seats; private beta has more seats, but they are reserved for customers of Spring.

@MonaApp the TestFlight is full, any plan to accept more testers?

@MonaApp no dice it goes from 171 to 906. there's no 170. unless the public beta has been closed already because of too many people?

@lunar_fang Hmm, looks like you are in the private beta group.

@MonaApp not sure how that happened. I did try the other day before it went public not knowing I needed spring. a friend sent me that test flight link. which could explain the confusion. any idea on how I can change that since I'm not actually a private beta tester?

@lunar_fang You should be able to enter public beta group by accepting test invitation using the public link. If it doesn’t work, maybe “Stop Testing” then open the link again. (public beta is full at this moment)

@MonaApp If we are still on the version that required spring, do we need to join this new one? If we stay on this one, do we still need to keep spring installed? Thank you so much for all that you do! You and your work are so very much appreciated!

@MonaApp Is it possible to add more than 2 options to a poll? My server supports at least 4 max but Mona has 2 choices only.

@MonaApp What is this live text feature that's now accessible?

1

@MonaApp By the way, I tagged you a couple weeks (?) ago about possible stuttering-scrolling. It was not Mona’s fault! Sorry!
M1 MacBook Pro got somehow switched to “ProMotion” refresh, and that causes stutter-scroll. It’s just that the main place where I saw it was in Mona because I scrolled a lot.
Release and I will pay.

@Pipistrelle @MonaApp I thought the name sounded familiar, but I didn't realize an app had control over it enough to cause it to be inaccessible.

@alexhall @Pipistrelle No, that Apple provided feature is inaccessible by default. I have to do extra work to make it accessible.
