@DaNanner fairly I guess as they've been working on it for a while

@DaNanner @Tattooed_mummy Several apps (iOS, Android) offer translation support. The spreadsheet my friends and I have been working on identifies them on row 66.

@DaNanner @Tattooed_mummy Oh no! 😬 Looks like:

iOS
- Ice Cubes
- Metatext
- Tooot
- Ivory
- Mercury
- Mast
- Tootle

Android
- Fedilab
- Megalodon
- Trunks

I thought for certain Elk supported it on web, but sadly no.

@DaNanner It's supported by Mastodon but has to be enabled by the admins.

@DaNanner On the client-side, Tusker doesn’t have translation but IceCubes is supposed to — there’s an option under Settings to enable the translate button but my guess is that it only appears if it detects that the status/post language is different from the device language or something … And it might not work correctly.

I believe you can enable translation on the Mastodon server if you are running a 4.x version (I might be wrong about the version) but that has to be done explicitly and would only be available from the web UI …
