@aspiringcat That’s what I generally say … or something similar. But I also blame my advancing age 😛 I say, “My memory’s not what it used to be and as I get older, I tend forget things more. So could you please refresh my memory as to how we know each other?”

@aspiringcat I’ve just used it whenever — even when I was in my twenties … I’d just say “You know how scatterbrained I am, I just can’t remember stuff.” Or something like that. Of course, with age it becomes more believable 😛
