I'm a bit of an eclectic mess 🙂 I've been a programmer, journalist, editor, TV producer, and a few other things.

Love mobile development, AR/VR/XR, and all forms of digital creativity where you use AI to generate art, text, and music.

The sun sets over a couple of tall, thin spires of rock seen on the Hoodoo Trail (part of the Dinosaur Trail) in Drumheller Valley, Alberta.

When I went to visit the Royal Tyrrell Museum of Paleontology in Drumheller, I originally went just for the museum - I had no idea that there was landscape like this in the area. Badland canyons, old mines, a suspension bridge, a mini ferry, the hoodoos in this picture, and a ghost town with a functioning hotel and saloon.

I may not be able to do some of what my neurotypical friends and family can... but I can create my art :) I started my aerial embroidery journey 3.5 years ago and love it more every day! Do you create art? What kind?

My 2022 temperature blanket is done.*

365 days
2 rows a day
730 rows**
360 stitches per row
262,800 stitches**
Roughly 20 minutes per row
Approximately 250 hours of knitting
Temperatures from -5ºC - 35ºC
19 colours of yarn

And impossible to photograph all in one go, because it's BIG - roughly 6ft wide and over 6ft in length.

* Though I'm probably going to add a crochet border.

** Not including cast on / off and setup rows.

Eta - Thanks everyone for all the comments, favourites and boosts.

While visiting a local botanical gardens, this beautiful pink flamingo was seen trying to catch a nap with it’s beak tucked into it’s back feathers. He/she was very aware of my presence and kept one eye open. Love the flamingos and have adapted many of them into my art. Starting the New Year 2023 with some flowers from my garden. I love Flowering Maple plants. The flowers bloom beneath the leaves in a little world all their own. May you have a wonderful day! It's here: https://pixels.com/featured/abutilon-flowering-maple-renata-natale.html

As an , there are certain issues that I see often enough that when I see them, I struggle to unsee them. The structural issues on this list are all fixable. Exactly how they are fixed depends on what you want to achieve with your stories.

“A wise old owl lived in an oak;
The more he saw the less he spoke;
The less he spoke the more he heard:
Why can't we all be like that bird?”
