Behind the waterfall ❤️ Amazing Seljalandsfoss in Iceland. Yes, you can walk right behind this wonderful waterfall -- but be prepared to get wet! 🙂 And please be extra cautious in Winter, it will be slippery. The sky this morning was dramatic in every direction. The snowy landscape and early dawn light provided a real show of pastel shades of creamy yellow through pink to lavenders, purples and blues.

“Light is scattered and bounces off the ice crystals in the snow. The reflected light includes all the colours, which, together, look white.”

At this time of day the snow takes on the reflected colours of the sky. The landscape is bathed in blues. A bonny day

Newfoundland is a beautiful place. I spend nine days there this past July, two of which were in Bonavista, whose claim to fame is that it was the site that John Cabot first landed at in 1497 after sailing from Bristol in search of a western passage to Asia. There's lots of beautiful scenery in and around the town.

BLOOD RIVER

A spring morning along the Dorset stour, cow parsley in abundance and mist hovering over the undisturbed waters.

Has to be my favourite season and is always a welcome sight after a long, cold winter..

It's hard for me to get across the vastness of Alaska in pictures.

This is somewhere on the Tok Cutoff from Anchorage up to Tok. That's the Alaskan Range in the distance.

When I entered those mountains, I knew I was almost home.

It's 320 miles from Tok to Anchorage.

I truly miss the Interior of Alaska.

My 3rd photo in a set of artistically done flowers.

A beautiful tulip done in an artistic style. I noticed the petals on the pink tulips starting to curve out and really standing out against the green background. One of the meanings of that the pink tulip represent is happiness.
