Thinking about doing something crazy like not taking any selfies in the month of February. I don’t know I feel like it might be good for me?

Some people believe there's no purpose to "liking" something on Mastodon since it doesn't affect any algorithm.

That moment you realise that the fern tree trunk is actually a collection of trapped souls looking at you with evil intent 🙂.

Just Past the Ice Cream Truck is the name of this Matt Beard painting.
I super wanted one of his poppy pieces but had missed out the year before.
I put in my request and waited patiently and was eventually rewarded with this piece.
Love, love the colors.
I am guessing by the name that he wasn't the only one there to see the poppy bloom.
Nowhere near Humboldt for sure.

“Rùm is a Scottish Gaelic name. It is one of the Small Isles of the Inner Hebrides in Scotland. For much of the 20th century the name became Rhum, a spelling invented by the former owner, Sir George Bullough, because he did not relish the idea of having the title ‘Laird of Rum’.”

Seen from Skye it’s a good twenty miles. It very often appears as a pale shadow in the mist. Sometimes it looks as though you could reach out and touch it. Today it drifted beyond my reverie.
