@BintyMcFrazzles I'm new here too. I like art, dogs, comedy, music, blogging and learning.
@BintyMcFrazzles Hi Hilda! I used to be a critical care nurse long ago in the US.
@BintyMcFrazzles you had me at "child-free by choice" hello friend 💚 💚
@BintyMcFrazzles already following you but boosted your post #GTTO
@BintyMcFrazzles I understand what you're going through with frozen shoulder. Suffered with it most of this year. It's excruciating, hoping you're better soon.
@MoreUtterPiffle
Howdy. x I only joined today and have been finding my twitter folks.
It's all a bit strange, but I might be getting used to it.
@palmoildetectives
Sorry, I would have replied sooner, but I was having a lie-in.
Because I can.
(Sorry, that sounded really smug, but it made me chuckle).

@stabforddeathrage
I've had it 4 months, still in the freezing stage. I keep thinking the pain is improving, but then it comes and slaps me in the face to remind me.
Hope yours is starting to improve. X
@BintyMcFrazzles hahahahaha my friend this is me every day too...be as smug as you like 😆 😂
@BintyMcFrazzles Mine is pretty good after the shot and some physical therapy. Still sometimes gives me trouble, but my strength is slowly returning. Don't worry, yours will get better, I'm sure!
@Laurie Thank you. Yes, it's very painful. The big zingers are fewer and less extreme now, but it still aches most of the time. x
@BintyMcFrazzles every time I hear a child screaming in tantrum on the train or anywhere in public after I mentally close my eardrums I also say a silent prayer to myself that it's not me dealing with it
@stabforddeathrage
The steroid injection didn't work for me and I'm still in too much pain to do any physio for now. The one thing I know is that it will pass, and I've just got to go with the flow.
@palmoildetectives
Me and the OH just look at each other and I say, "Reason No 3....any regrets?"
"Noooooooooo."
@BintyMcFrazzles Oh gosh, I'm so sorry. I understand how that must feel. I don't think I could've functioned without that shot. My arm was useless. I'm hoping yours gets better soon!
@stabforddeathrage
I'm getting used to the limited mobility, but it's annoying. The constant ache is the worst, although with regular naproxen and plenty of supplements, I "manage" sort-of.
I think I might be getting towards the frozen stage, as the pain *seems* to be maybe improving, but I'm not sure quite yet.
I've learned to adapt.
I've been off sick over 3 months, now. I can't do my job with it.
@BintyMcFrazzles Ugh, yeah, I can imagine how difficult it must be for you. At its worst, I felt like my bicep was going to tear off my shoulder, and I could barely lift a coffee cup.
@stabforddeathrage
Yeah, my arm/shoulder is weak, but it's the lack of movement that's annoying.
Oh, yes, the sudden "zingers" where you feel as if your bicep is being ripped out of your shoulder......
@BintyMcFrazzles Ha, yeah! I used to call it my "party trick". I would lift my coffee cup with my good arm, then show them how I couldn't get it to budge with my bad one, no matter how much I willed it to happen.
@stabforddeathrage I call it my t-rex arm.
