Hello! My name is Manda and I'm a self taught artist. I work with mostly mixed media right now, but I am still looking for my main medium. I like to paint lots of different subjects but primarily focus on botanicals, landscapes, and portraiture. I really want to improve in all of these areas. I also like to plan and journal in my hobonichi weeks. I love stickers and washi tape!
I hope to find a space here and look forward to meeting lots of new friends!

@Circlefruit welcome! I hope you share more of your art. :)

I'm a beginner artist, also self-taught, mainly digital using Procreate on my iPad. I tried pen/pencil on paper, but I'm really shaky with poor motor control, so digital is much better for me.

@Laurie Hi Laurie, it’s nice to meet you! I like Procreate but I’m not so great with it πŸ˜… A lot of the time I feel left out for not doing digital art. But it’s great that it works for you 😊 what is your favorite subject to draw?

@Circlefruit it takes a bit to get Procreate. I followed a bunch of tutorials, which of course also taught me how to art. But if you don't like doing digital, it shouldn't matter. You do you. :)

Hmm. I tend to do landscapes a fair bit, and I tend to add things like the Ogopogo (the Okanagan Valley's answer to Nessie), Sasquatch, dragons, and otherworldly scenes. But... I also like doing flowers, birds, and animals. So... nature? Of some description? I've been doing this for barely a year.
