Blueberry jam is almost done. Two trays of berries are freezing. Tomorrow I will make some cordial. Then for my sons graduation I will try some of the blueberry desserts. I will defiantly have to go and pick more blueberries.

@xvf17 s.

Blueberry Cordial Recipe

Blueberries 500g or (1lb)
Sugar (6 oz) 175 g
250 ml water

Let's all cook up until the berries burst. Strain and fill into sterilized bottle or container. I submerged mine in water and let it cook up again to seal the bottles.

@irisRichardson mmmmmmmmm blueberry jam.

I used to can my own jams and such. I lived in the Okanagan Valley in British Columbia, Canada, which is a major fruit belt. I got the best peaches there, and my peach jam was to die for.

@Laurie That sounds amazing. We have a lot of peach farms around here as well. I have a champagne peach jam I love to make.
