@DaNanner @heurism I'm guessing you're referring to beef liver here. Chicken liver has a milder flavour, and duck liver milder still. If it's the strong flavour that stops you, you could try chicken or duck. Or you could make liver pate with the chicken liver for an even milder flavour.

@DaNanner cooking in a cast iron skillet also will deliver some iron. A lot of shellfish is high in iron. And then there are fortified cereals, most have iron included.
