@snott Somewhat like "Kaleidoscope" but not done watching it and so don't know if it sucks at the end 🙂 Liked "Wednesday" but it sucked very hard at the end ... That's all I recall from Netflix recently ...

But if you want non-Netflix stuff ... my biggest issue is that I forget most of the stuff we've watched after a few days ... We liked "Jack Ryan" (on Prime) but maybe you don't like that sort of stuff?

If you want non-US/non-Western stuff then there's a bunch of good stuff out of India that we enjoyed but at least some of it might be subtitles only. One good example is "The Family Man" (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt9544034) ... sort of an Indian Jack Ryan if you will 🙂

@snott Didn't watch "1899" but I did hear that it got cancelled and at least one person I follow hated the ending because there was no resolution 😛

Just went through BetaSeries to remind me of other stuff that we liked that we watched recently. Another good one (but definitely subtitled) was "Suzhal" (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt20873118) on Prime. That particular director duo do good stuff ... at least comparatively.

"The Recruit" on Netflix started out good but got progressively stupid, just like the protagonist. So wouldn't really recommend unless you're curious as to if it holds up — which is something I do when people say something is bad, I watch it anyway to see if it really is 😛

"Irreverent" was good. Australian/American collaboration and we loved it. That is the last one that I can actually remember watching and loving ... but had to look up in BetaSeries to remember ...

@snott Yep 🙂 And a lot of things that other people find great, I find to be not just for me. So I just have to know if it was that bad, or if they missed something 😛
